Fredericton, NB – December 8, 2025 – The Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators (CAMA) is pleased to announce that, following a competitive Request for Proposals (RFP) process, the City of Edmonton, Alberta has been selected as the host community for the 2029 CAMA National Conference (May 28-30, 2029).
Bringing together municipal Chief Administrative Officers and senior managers from across Canada, the CAMA National Conference is a key opportunity for learning, networking, and sharing best practices in local government leadership.

The Conference will showcase Edmonton as a dynamic, welcoming city with a strong municipal leadership team and a proven track record of hosting national and international events. Delegates will have opportunities to experience Edmonton’s river valley, cultural attractions, and vibrant downtown, while engaging in a high-quality professional development program.
