Jamie Nagy is the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the Town of Langham, SK, located 15 minutes from Saskatoon, within one of the fastest growing regions in Canada.  She has nearly 8 years of experience in Municipal Administration, 7 of which as CAO.  She has worked with Municipal Councils in both urban and rural settings.

Previous to her work in Municipal Government, she worked for the Provincial Ministry of Justice where she quickly advanced within the Office of Residential Tenancies.

Jamie is a member of various Regional, Economic Development and Administrative organizations within Saskatchewan and is eager to attend training sessions whenever the opportunity is presented.  She has obtained her Standard Certificate of Qualification in Local Government Authority (Urban) in the Province of Saskatchewan and her Rural Class “C” Certificate of Qualification from the Rural Board of Examiners in the Province of Saskatchewan. In addition, she has the IPWEA Professional Certificate in Asset Management Planning, Municipal Management Essentials Administrative Level 1 and 2 Certificates through Southeast College and numerous other certificates.

As a second-generation CAO from rural Saskatchewan she aims to voice the perspective of the sometimes-underrated provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba and apply what she learns from other municipalities across the nation to her Municipality.

Building better municipalities together.
