Bev Hendry is an experienced Chief Administrative Officer who is passionate about developing, empowering and believing in people to drive community success.

Bev is currently the Chief Administrative Officer for the Township of West Lincoln, the largest municipality georgraphically speaking, in Niagara Region.  Its a community with a good balance of rural and urban values and challenges.

Prior to joining municipality government, Bev began her career with the Province of Ontario with the ministries of Consumer and Commerical Relations, Natural Resources and Municipal Affairs and Housing, where her last post was Regional Director for Central Ontario.  She gained valuable experience in policy development; program administration; strategic planning; stakeholder and government relations; communications; and issues management.  She has a Bachelor's of Applied Science and a Master's of Science in Management and Economics from the University of Guelph and Masters Certificate in Municipal Leadership from the Schulich School of Business, York University.

Bev is a strong people leader and community builder and is proud of the progress and strength of teams developed under her leadership at the City of Oshawa as the Interim City Manager and the Commissioner of Corporate Services, as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Corporation of the Township of Scugog and in West Lincoln.

Bev continues to combine her passion for municipal leadership and continuous learning by volunteering on community-based boards, agencies and numerous regional and provincial committees.  She is currently a Member At Large on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators and is also a past President of the Ontario Municipal Administrators Association.
