City of Toronto Panel Session

As the host for the 2010 Conference, the City of Toronto was able to showcase its many unique, innovative and leading edge initiatives during a one hour panel session entitled Action Through Leadership. 

Delegates were shown how the City of Toronto created a new revitalized amalgamated city able to compete in a global economic climate.  City Manager, Joseph Pennachetti, shared some quick facts about Toronto and highlighted strategic initiatives and opportunities which demonstrate why Toronto is a highly successful diverse and innovative city.

Deputy City Managers, Sue Corke, Richard Butts and Cam Weldon  
showcased City priorities which included service transformation, environmental strategies and developing partnerships with other orders of government.
