How to Nominate

 

Program Excellence Awards Eligibility

All municipalities with staff members who hold a membership in CAMA during the year in which the municipality’s program, project or service are nominated are eligible for consideration for the Program Excellence Awards.

 

Program Excellence Awards Nominations Process

Nominations may be made by:

  • CAMA Members
  • Mayors of member municipalities

Please fill in the appropriate nomination form below specific to the award submission and send it to the address shown below. Along with the nomination form, include a minimum of two or three pages outlining the following information:

  • brief description of the program, project or service;
  • time frames involved;
  • process of implementation;
  • results achieved;
  • names and titles of officials with key involvement.

Keep in mind the evaluation considerations for each of the awards when providing the above information.

Because one of the key objectives of the Program Excellence Awards is dissemination of best practices to others, please send a one page summary, similar in nature to a media release, which succinctly describes the program, project or service in a manner that can be used for public communication.

 

Fee/Nomination Information

A fee of $100 (plus 5% GST) for municipalities with a population over 20,000 or a fee of $50 (plus 5% GST) for municipalities with a population under 20,000 is payable to CAMA for each nomination submitted.
